A full day in field followed by a 10 hour drive to CLT (plus an extra hour to get out of the city) made for a very long day. Luckily had enough time between sessions to go grab a big burger with avocado (no bun, of course!).
An interesting milestone today is that I’m at a point where I can really go long stretches of time without food (and not want to gnaw my own arm off). It’s allowing me to travel and still make good food choices, since I can hold out until I have the right opportunity to find something healthy. In the past, I’ve found this to be critical to living healthy on the road.
Breakfast: 2 eggs with prosciutto, iced coffee
Lunch: Big burger (no bun) with avocado
Dinner: iced espresso, couple pieces Dietrich’s beef jerky, cashews and almonds
